Good and bad adjectives

How was your day?

It was pretty good. I met a cute girl on the bus.

It was dreadful. It was raining outside and I forgot my umbrella at home. Now I’m all wet and cold.

It was not bad. I had very little to do at work, and I was able to see a friend for lunch.

It was huge. I found out that I got into Oxford University.
